| I was born in Santa Rosa, La Pampa, Argentina, on March 26th of 1959. My portfolio is made up of over 17,000 documented images of America and Europe. The themes I manage mainly focus on tourism, architecture, landscape, culture, and traditions. I generally work with a 35 mm format, although I have some medium format material. In recent years my photographs have been published in widely known magazines, such as: National Geographic, Geomundo, México Desconocido, Actual, Expansión, Vuelo, Marie Claire, Eres Novia, and Conozca Más, among others, as well as in tourist guides in the U.S.A., such as the "Buenos Aires Tourist Guide" of Lonely Planet, California; and the Mexico, Guatemala, and "Belize Tourist Guide" of Michelin, California. In 1990 I founded the editorial photography agency GattoStock, where I am director, and since 1998 I promote my services on the Web at www.gattostock.com. I have also collaborated with photographs in the following websites: www.cuba.com.mx, www.argentina.com.mx, www.nuestraboda.com, www.viajo.com, www.volando.com, and www.celebrando.com. The most important prizes I have received are: First Prize of the O.A.S. Photography Inter-American Contest, Category: Color, Washington, D.C., U.S.A. (1984) Acquisition Prize of the National Art Contest (VIII National Convention of Young Art), INBA, Color Photo, Aguascalientes, Mexico. (1988) Second International Prize and Sixth International Prize of the Second International Photography Contest of the magazine "Geomundo". Mexico City. (1993) Second Prize of the First Tourist Photography Contest in Mexico City, Cámara Nacional de Comercio de la Ciudad de México, Category: Professional. Mexico City. (1999) I have done over 38 exhibitions of my work in Argentina and Mexico, both collective and individual collections.
