One of the most important places to visit is the Fortaleza de los Tres Reyes de El Moro (Fortress of the Three Kings of the Knoll) built in 1563 with big coral rocks. It’s located in the entrance of the Havana bay, in front of the city. From a 24 Mts. lighthouse, the bay’s restaurants and cafes can be appreciated.

In the Modern Havana you can find the El Vedado barrio, favorite among the Havana people for its neo-colonial houses, big hotels, tall buildings, movie theaters, art galleries, famous bars, and cabarets. At night one can visit the Cabaret Copa of the Riviera Hotel, or the Salon Rojo of the Capri Hotel. You can also enjoy a nice show in the famous Café Havana of the Melia Cohiba Hotel, a kind of Hard Rock recreated in the 50’s style. Visiting Havana without a night dancing in the Cabaret Tropicana, which is well known worldwide for its unique style, is like not visiting Havana at all.

Only 20 minutes outside the city are the white sanded beaches. One of the most famous is the Santa Maria, with its beautiful transparent waters. And for those who fancy fishing, la Marina Hemingway offers tours and submarine fishing practices, among other things. You mustn’t forget to visit the worldly known Veradero beach. In can solicit tours in the offices of any hotel, not only to this famous beach, but also to some of the paradise-like keys close to the Havana. For example, to Cayo Largo there are one-day long tours that include transportation, a welcome cocktail, and meals of shrimp and lobster.

To walk through the streets of Havana is to be carried away by the bewitchment of its Caribbean mystic. Unforgettable Habana.
Havana’s incomparable coastal, the famous Havana dike, is always renewed and devoted to the city’s habitants and visitors.

With 727.4 square Km, Havana, located in the northernmost part of Cuba and the archipelago Caribbean, opens onto the Gulf of Mexico with the protection of its old fortresses and deep harbor.

Getting to the Cuban capital is discovering such a beautiful city that invites you to walk through its streets, and get to know her mysteries of a lover who is there, and a moment later disappears.

Our journey might begin with a trip to the east, where Havana’s historical center, the famous Habana Vieja (Old Havana), is located. Or it might begin in the west part of the city, dominated by the modern barrio El Vedado (The Forbiden). The view will be great in any of the two directions; in one lies the deep blue sea, and in the other side stands the city, with gorgeous buildings and pleasant people.

The historical city center, its buildings, museums, palaces, convents, colonial mansions, antique plazas, restaurants, and bars, make up the visitor’s delight. The atmosphere breathed all around is of a contagious joy that calls for amusement and love...
