Unlike other countries, in Mexico exists for more than 600 years a deep rooted tradition, which is to celebrate the Day of the Dead, offering them the beverages and food they use to like alive, as well as giving to friends and familiars sugar skulls. The celebration last from the end of October till the 3rd of November. Without the presence of the tourists, chanting, prayers the cucuchenses (villagers from Cucuchucho) stay up till dawn in the graveyard beside the decorated graves with "cempasúchil flowers" and offerings.
