Taming is one of the most unique trades in the country, which main feature is the ability of the riders over the wild horses. Today it is a public spectacle where any volunteer may participate in different categories depending on the trappings that are placed on the animal: bareback, , with packsaddle and top, or with a mounting "surera". The rider mounts the horse that is immediately untied, and has to remain on it some 15 seconds, respecting the only golden rule which is not to hold on to its mane and if he falls he should do so standing up. The herd of horses and the riders fame attracts a vast public to these traditional events.
