One of the strongest rural traditions in the Pampa -a herd of horses taught to perform different chores pertaining to country life, guided by a lead mare. Now days the trade of being a "tropillero" and which for many decades was forgotten, has received new impulse and popular feasts are a common thing with parades and performances of the best "tropillas" of the Pampa, demonstrating what their horses are able to do. Each "tropilla" group is distinguished by the uniform color of hair and form a team next to its lead mare, keeping the order marked by the coreography.
