Only 20 km of the french capital, stands the Versailles Palace. Old residence of the Sun King (Louis XIV), it is still the symbol of greatness of 18th century France. The bewilderment emerging from it reminds the magnificent life pertaining to the french court. Its majestic gardens include fountains such as "Sparkling Fountain" and "Fountain of the Dragon" all of them recreated with characters from the Greek mythology, such as Apollo and Diane. Another musts are a walk through the forest of colonnades (tall, thin trees), the trimmed paths of shrubs dividing the different sections, walking along the "Orangerie" (orange groves) and getting to admire the stupendous bronze and marble sculptures adorning them.
